I am surprised yet somewhat impressed that Iron Driver  were capable of releasing their debut EP titled ‘Crack Of The Whip’. The Russians’s aim is to combine Heavy Elements together and  The outcome is quite pleasing for a big Metal fan of them like myself, as the EP delivers from start to finish. The EP Tracks  which helps elevate the Heavy Metal music that Iron Driver  desire to create, and whilst this isn’t something new to the genre, it is done so well that it may come across as an almost new breed of bands. I find this release very thought provoking, very intense and rather pleasant actually. I like releases s that have different dimensions and that do more than merely merge sounds. The band  build impressions in your mind, many of Heavy Metal will love it  I am sure, and get to this mode of enjoyment and come through with a pleasing grin on your face, then you’ve witnessed “Crack Of The Whip”, The Ep  is a release that should appeal to most Heavy  metal fans, it’s got more balls that most and mirrors a familiar feeling I had with their music all those years ago. The vocal delivery is key, but also the tone and delivery of the guitar riffs and leads. Whilst not blessed thankfully with over the top  tunes, “Crack Of The Whip” does what it needs to with the right amount of balance without being too over the top. A strong effort indeed.
