Black Bouquet: (Raleigh, NC)

Black Bouquet is a six-piece band from Raleigh, North Carolina consisting of viola, guitar, synths, drums, bass and vocals. The band formed in 2017 and has developed a unique sound that fuses 80’s goth, early 2000’s indie rock and the dynamic, baroque arrangements of modern art rock. Black Bouquet’s debut record “Pray to the Knife” is to be released on February 16th. Pray to the Knife is a story of survival after grief told through the eyes and in the words of troubled lovers. The themes of finding self worth amidst the wreckage of personal traumas, tragedies, and loss are woven through the tracklist in direct, conversational lyricism and pummeling instrumentals that set every scene.

Truth Club: (Raleigh, NC)

Raleigh’s Truth Club made an immediate impact when their debut LP Not An Exit was released in 2019. The impressive set of tense, brooding post-punk tracks established them as an exciting new voice, landing them on Stereogum’s 2019 list of Best New Bands, where they were praised as “the wistful, nervy relatives of indie rock’s past and present.”
The follow-up, Running From The Chase, brings a sense of curiosity, commitment, and experimentation to the band’s process. Recorded at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, NC, Running From the Chase is an album that’s sweeping and sophisticated, balancing considered introspection with a stunning, newly expanded sound.

Nganga: (Raleigh, NC)

Hailing from Raleigh, NC, Nganga is an emerging four-piece black metal outfit who’s captivated its audiences with its intricate blend of the chaotic and the sublime. With influences ranging from Weakling, Yellow Eyes, and Krallice to Revocation and Beyond Creation, the band has crafted a soundscape that reimagines conventional black metal, giving the genre a breath of fresh air amidst all of its dark, atmospheric undertones.
