Spain’s Napalm Storm unleashes their debut EP on the unsuspecting world. The title pretty much tells what you need to know. The EP is just over 13 minutes of pure Thrash Metal.  Of the 3 tracks here only one exceeds 4 minutes. Each track is a quick, urgent attack on the listener. ‘Solemen Oath’ has that basic, raw feel to it like the early Demolation Hammer  or something from The Death Metal in the early 90’s.it’s powerfull leads in there also. ” The  Manuscript ” has a great little groove and vocalist Carlos Tello  gives off an almighty hellish, tortured scream! While they are not the most original band in the world they deliver exactly what they intend to and this is a solid, nasty little EP which is well worth checking out. I think the band would have benefitted from a little bit more variation in the short time they had to present themselves but you get the overall picture of what the band are about. If you like Deomlantion Hammer  you will lap this up. the EPis a fine Thrash Metal piece , it’s hard to critique musicianship nowadays as the standard is very high, theb band have that high standard. Though I must confess not totally in owe with the style, the songs are well written and arranged in a way to make this thrashy thinking music. A cool release full of ideas that are clearly growing as time passes.
