Certainly Majesty is a band that does not have the number of followers that other important bands, but that in its discography has some albums that I consider that no one should stop listening, like for example “Reing in Glory”. For those who do not know the band, Majesty executes a Heavy / Power Metal with great force, taking elements of bands like Manowar, Hammerfall, etc.
Let’s go to the album in question, I had to listen several times to highlight positive elements, because before hearing “Rebels” you already know what you will find, Heavy / Power Metal bluntly. This work of these Germans, is not bad, quite the opposite, however for several years they have been offering the same thing. From the cover of the disc made with a computer (I prefer the covers painted by an artist), to the classic intro with keyboard, I found very few new things, unfortunately.

Always, I must emphasize the voice of the great Tarek Maghery, a vocalist that a unique voice gives its own identity to the band. Anyway I highlight some things that I liked the record, the guitars of “Die like Kings” and “Yolo HM”. I can also highlight the chorus of “The Final War”, but the classic ballad that is present on all Majesty albums, which in this case is called “Across the Lightning” does not actually tell me anything. Although without fear of being wrong I think the best song of the album is “Running for Salvation” by the guitars, by the vocal me
lody and by certain air 80′ that I like so much.
Rebels, one more album in Majesty’s career, maybe not the best in his discography. But is a good way to know your music, just for fans.
